Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a leading manufacturer and integrator of Warehouse Automation products looking to bring on Graduate Design Engineers to work on projects for clients across the UK. Responsibilities

• Creating detailed concept layouts for Warehouse Automation systems
• Using autoCAD and other design software to create solutions for clients nationally 
• Developing an understanding of warehouse layouts and integrating Warehouse Automations products to include conveyors, robotics and retrieval systems
• Working closely with the design team and the head of design to ensure that all designs are completed in a timely manner
• Communicating with customers and ensure the requirements are met. 

Requirements

Our client are ideally looking for a recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design with some industry experience. The successful individual will have a keen interest in getting into a long-term opportunity within engineering and be efficient in using multiple design software’s. In terms of location, the position will be office based so it is essential that you are base within commutable distance of the head office in Nottingham.
