Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant
Your primary responsibility as a SEN Teaching Assistant will be to support a delightful Year 2 child with autism, helping them navigate their learning experience. This role involves close collaboration with the class teacher and SEN team, delivering strategies that foster confidence and engagement in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Offering 1:1 support to a child with autism, adapting techniques to meet their specific needs
- Assisting in the development and delivery of individual education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with the teacher and SENCO to create a positive and structured learning environment
- Encouraging social interaction and supporting the child's emotional well-being
