Peace Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected Local Authority organization that manages, leases, and sells a diverse portfolio of properties in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join a dynamic team and work on a variety of property management and redevelopment projects.

The Role

As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality property services. Working closely with a team of experienced professionals, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of surveying tasks and contribute to impactful projects.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting property surveys and condition assessments.
  • Assisting with maintenance schedules, feasibility studies, and project reports.
  • Supporting contract administration and project management duties.
  • Ensuring compliance with building regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver property solutions.
  • Contributing to sustainable building practices within the organization.

About You

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for building surveying and property management.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related field (RICS-accredited qualifications are desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A proactive and ambitious mindset, with a drive to work towards chartership.
  • Technical aptitude and a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD or property management systems is advantageous.
